On November 7th, at the Ant Financial Future Hospital Summit, the market-leading big data analysis company Analysys released the latest "Special Research Report on Internetization of Chinese Hospitals 2017", which pointed out that the Internetization of Chinese hospitals is currently in the start-up period of the mobile terminal. The Internetization rate is still less than 10%, and only nearly 30% of the 880 million Internet users in 2016 have established Internet medical habits. However, the report predicts that in the next five years, the rate of Internet access in hospitals is expected to increase to 80%. In the next 10 years, the Internet will become the infrastructure of medical institutions, reshaping the entire medical treatment process and improving the medical experience of patients.
Internetization of hospitals refers to the establishment of mobile medical service capabilities in hospitals , including the process of opening up registration, waiting for consultation, fetching reports, post-diagnosis consultation, and drug purchase and drug fetching, establishing patient-end medical services and activating the hospital's big data platform.

According to the "Survey Report on Outpatient Practice of Outpatients in Shanghai Public Tertiary Hospitals", the average outpatient visit time in Shanghai public tertiary hospitals is 177.2 minutes, of which 75% are in line and only 25% of medical visits. The Analysys report believes that the hospital Internet can help patients save up to 140 minutes by optimizing the process.
At the summit of the same day, Alipay released the latest credit medical treatment solution. Users with a total score of 650 points can open the communication medical service and get a 1000 yuan medical treatment quota for Huabei. There is no need to line up for payment offline, and it is automatically deducted online. Payment method can be completed. Compared with the traditional medical treatment model, credit medical treatment is estimated to save 60% of the medical treatment time on average, and can solve the problem of temporary shortage of funds for some patients.

Emerging Internet companies, information companies, and third-party support organizations have become an indispensable part of the hospital Internet industry chain. Take Alipay as an example. As of September 2017, only Alipay’s "Hospital of the Future" plan has penetrated 2,650 hospitals. A total of more than 350 million convenient services such as real-name registration, mobile payment, and report inquiries have been provided through Alipay, which saves patients half of the time for consultation on average.

Dong Xu, general manager of Analysys International Analysis Group, predicts that with the continuous development of technology, new technologies such as artificial intelligence-assisted diagnosis and treatment will gradually be applied to hospital operations. Internet technology will help hospitals reduce operating service costs by 25%. The Internetization of hospitals, the establishment of intelligent triage, remote consultation platforms, and two-way referral channels will also promote the effective implementation of China's branch diagnosis and treatment system
